The Hanuman Fellowship Board of
Directors in concert with the Panchayat, is moving the annual general meeting for 2015 from our
usual May/June date to September 20th. It seems to be increasingly
difficult with Mount Madonna School Ramayana and graduations and Mount Madonna
Center summer programming busyness to find a date in May/June that works
smoothly for all.
We are trying this new time of year
and we will send out another save date in the coming months.
In the meantime, mark your
calendars for Sunday, 9/20/15. It will be an opportunity for us to
gather as a Satsang and be together.

great spiritual heritage of India the fall season is the time of a rich
confluence of traditions and rituals honoring gods and goddesses in their
myriad forms. Through the inspiration of our revered guru, Baba HariDass, we will come together during
the final three days of the traditional nine-day Navaratri
festival to honor and celebrate the inspiring story of Lord Rama as told in the
spiritual epic, Ramayana.
are devoted to intensive yoga practice and ritual. Afternoons will be spent
studying symbolism and preparing for the final ceremonies. In the evenings we
visit the wondrous tale of the Ramayana in story, dance, and music. The final
evening is the ceremonial destruction of the Great Demon King Ravana, representing the virtuous mind prevailing over ego
and negativity. The retreat will close with a Vedic Fire Ceremony for
purification and peace.
